Keystone Window KSTAW12CE Editorial Review
The Keystone 12,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner and Dehumidifier has garnered mixed feedback from customers, with most highlighting its impressive cooling capabilities and ease of installation. Users are particularly pleased with how quickly it cools down larger spaces, such as living rooms and kitchens, making it suitable for areas up to 550 square feet. Many customers appreciated the variety of temperature settings, which allow for greater comfort, and the added convenience of a remote control. Most reviewers noted that the unit is relatively quiet for an air conditioner, enabling them to enjoy television without disruption while it runs. It also excels in its dehumidifying function, helping to improve the comfort level within humid conditions. However, there are notable concerns regarding the product's reliability. Some users reported a malfunction where the plug burned out and subsequently posed a potential fire hazard. While customer service was described as pleasant and responsive, the replacement units received by these customers often arrived with damage or issues of their own, which led to frustration. Additionally, despite some noise being expected, a few customers found it to be louder than anticipated. In summary, while the Keystone AC unit offers strong performance in terms of cooling and ease of use, concerns regarding reliability and customer service experiences detract from the overall reception of the product. **
